The Penguin Games 2018: Medalists and Recap!

Hello Penguin,

Earlier today, I hosted the 3rd Annual Penguin Games. Here is a recap of it! Along with that, I will also be announcing the winning penguins of the medals. Let the post begin!

The first exclusively-Club-Penguin-Island Penguin Games started at Beacon Boardwalk, where penguins gathered in preparation for the game's start. Following that, players were able to bounce on the trampoline due to the welcome circle orientation.

Some penguins made it to the cloud!
Next, it was time to head south for a game of Tilt-o-Tube! It was a VERY close match...

It was also at that point that we had aligned out of the schedule, meaning we had to skip both of the planned Coconut Cove events. Oops! However, we still had time to bounce on the Air Bag! That was fun.

Next up: Sea Caves! Penguins took a swim to the Sea Caves Racing track and had a quick game of Sea Caves Racing.

Following that, it was time for one of the highlight of the event: The Penguin Factor! Although the particular event was not done in length, I quite liked it. On top of that, there was some fin-tastic mood lighting-

... We had a rainbow geyser near by. What a lucky find!

Another coincidence led to a TON of penguins playing Team Dance Battle right on schedule. Everyone had fun here, even if they weren't playing directly.

Oh look, another rainbow geyser! They really do appear everywhere...

For the last event in Island Central, penguins built up a sweat making, baking and tasting pizzas! There was so much food (and pizza) going around...

From there, penguins took on Mount Blizzard. Forget the 20 minute waiting-after-you-eat rule. GO GO GO, oh did the penguins FLY!

As the event was being wrapped up, the clock tower struck mini game time. After a round of Crate Co. penguins said their farewells and The 2018 Penguin Games wrapped up for another year.

And now for the moment we've all been waiting for... The medalists! For your reference, I also created a little leaderboard to tally up the medal winnings.

I would like to give a big thank you to everyone who came, especially the community of Club Penguin Island. I hope you all had fun!

If you didn't win a medal, don't worry! There will always be next year... Start training for The Penguin Games 2019! Were you able to attend? Let me know in the comments below!

While efforts were made to give medals to all attending penguins who participated in an event, some penguins may have missed out. Please understand that as I was allocating medals I was working from the start of the games, meaning that the group of penguins who participated from the start of the game received more medals than those who joined in from the end As new penguins came, special efforts were made to give medals to them.

Until next time, waddle on!
