The Penguin Games 2018: Events Update

Hello Penguins,

Earlier this month I announced that The 2018 Penguin Games would be happening. To learn more about the details of this event, check out this post. In the article, I intentionally left out the actual events that would occur during the games (some of their locations may have given them away, however...).

Why? I felt like I needed to write an article on how to achieve medals (wait what) for the more difficult events.

Medals? Yep, you guessed it! I will select (and judge) the best performing penguins from each event and assign then either a Gold, Silver or Bronze virtual medal depending on how well they did. Let's list some of those main events so you can start practising!

The Penguin Factor - Stage, Coconut Cove and Busking Stations, Island Central

In this event, penguins are required to use an instrument, whether a hand held one such as the Keytar or vocals. Penguins who show the most talent get the medals! Practising the different tricks with each instrument is advisable. Extra points go to penguins who try to stand out from the crowd!

This event is held across two locations to give penguins different environments, allowing them each to achieve their potential.

Team Dance Battle - Penguin Mosaic, Island Central

During this event, it is imperative for penguins to arrive on time to participate in-game-game. If penguins arrive late, they may miss out on playing the game and may need to support in other ways, such as motivating others (just as fun to do too).

For penguins to win medals in this game, it is imperative that they memorise moves. Work on those memorisation skills!

To learn more about this game, check out this other article of mine.

Pizza-thon - Franky's (Diner), Island Central

In order to achieve medals in this, penguins must work quickly to make and eat pizzas. This may sound easy, but it isn't! Penguins must mix the batter, put on the toppings, cook and eat! It is recommended that potential players work on creating speed-pizzas, another words, making pizzas quickly!

Well, that brings us to the end of the post. With the game less than two weeks away, time sure is flying! What events are you looking forward to? Let me know in the comments below.

Until next time, waddle on!
