Awesome Areas: Blizzard Mountain

Hello Penguins,

In today's Awesome Areas segment, we discuss Mount Blizzard, undoubtedly the sledding central of the island. Up for a tour? We've got you covered!

Up for a Crate Co. Challenge? Every 10 minutes, targets fall around the Campfire and surrounds. Your job? Hit the targets to complete a delivery!

On the clock tower during the event, the number of targets hit and left are shown, along with the time left to do so and the number of rounds. If you fail to hit a target in any given round, the challenge ends.

The challenge is best completed with as many penguins participating: Call upon as many penguins penguins to take on the challenge; and hit targets as early as possible!

Successful challenges result in a package being delivered and everyone earning some coins... and an extreme sense of proud and joy.

The Campfire is a great way to share spooky stories and roast hot chocolate over the fire. Is that even a thing? Now it is! Now, where was I *Classified*...

Garys's Lab features some initiative tools for aspiring penguin scientists to tinker with. I wonder what this gadget does? Hmm...

Camping in the snow? Head to Mt Blizzard's Campground! Featuring a tent, chairs and a pot of stinky cheese, you're sure to have a cosy place to rest the night.

To the left of that space is the Chairlift... Press the orange action button at the chair, and watch yourself be taken on a scenic tour to the other side of the mountain base.

Riding can be tough... Why not- Ahh! Yeti? Warn, save and locate penguins at the First Aid Hut. Be Resourceful, Be Remarkable, Be Ready- Hey, that sounds familiar!

As I was saying, grab some warm Hot Coco from the Snowmelt Shop. A great way to warn yourself amongst the cold climate of the mounatin!

Moving east, we reach the Climbing Wall! This vertical structure has many hidden clues in it. Can you find any? ... To gain hight, bounce on the red and green trampolines. Simples! (Well, the green trampolines, at the least- This offers a quick route to the top of the mountain...)

The Trampoline 3000 is an amazing invention by Gary, the island's resident scientist, by which penguins can gain coins at the peak of their bounce. The more penguins on it, the more coins you can earn!

After reaching the top of the mountain, penguins can be apart of the CPSN Network as a reporter or camera-penguin at the CPSN Set. What's the latest news- WHERE ARE THE REPORTERS?!

Moving east at the top, we have a shack... Rumour's have it that it has some kind of connection to Rookie...

Standing at the heart of the Mountain Top, we can see two sled races that we can go down... Summit Plummet, as the name implies, is a fast track that goes downhill quite fast. Snow Stormer, is a fierce snowy track filled with lots of obstacles and hard turns to overcome.

At the end of each race, you end up in this fin-tastic Viewing space! Here, penguins can cheer on their fellow island residents and test out the feel of winning on the podium...

Well, that brings us to the end of the Awesome Area. What are your favourite things to do at Mount Blizzard? Let me know in the comments below.
