Happy World Penguin Day!

Hello Penguins,

Today HAS to to be one of the most important days of the year, and should be marked on every penguin's calendar (Because I'm pretty sure Herbert loathes the day and Klutzy is too cute to notice).

What day is it, you ask! Well, 25th March is... World Penguin Day! We're penguins, the day celebrates them, thus it's only natural for us to highly rank a day celebrating us around the world. Here are some random facts and bits of information on penguins and ways to celebrate the event.

  • Complete this activity booklet Club Penguin Island released earlier today. It has lots of content and to read and activities to keep you entertained. On a long road trip today? Your perfect companion awaits you!

  • Log onto CP Island and join in on the peng-tivities! Claim the fin-tastically awesome World Penguin Day pack, and check out what's inside. Show that you care about penguins by wearing the hat, and spread knowledge with the emotes.

  • Protect penguin habitats! Switching to some simply positive habits, like reducing, reusing, recycling, and learning about the environment around you, as well as being drain smart, can reduce the amount of waste being pushed into the ocean.
    • Lots of recyclable materials and runoff end up into our oceans, which affect penguin environments, their safety, and the food they eat with unnatural chemicals. This needs to change, and the only way that can happen is with action: OUR actions.

By putting some of the above initiatives into our daily lives, we CAN make a difference.

At tomsino1.com we are passionate about the environment and protecting penguins.

Don’t forget to share your penguin knowledge with family and friends by celebrating the event today!

What will you be doing to celebrate the event? Let me know in the comments below.
