Earth Hour

Hello Penguins,

In 2007, Earth Hour launched in Sydney, Australia. In this event, 2.2 million people and 2,100 businesses participated in the "lights off" event. The following year, Earth Hour became a global phenomenon with 50 - 100 million people participating in 35+ countries. 2017 marks the 10th anniversary of the event, now celebrated in over 172 countries and over 7,000 cities and towns worldwide.

To take part in the event, simply turn off your non-essential appliances on Saturday 25th March between 8.30 and 9.30pm local time.

At tomisino1.com, we are switching off to join the future.

What activities will YOU be doing during Earth Hour? After all, you I'd be hard to not do anythign for an hour. I might print some of these off and decorate my room. What about you? Let me know in the comments below.
