Are the Club Penguin Island Warning Messages Automatic?

Hi Penguins,

Many penguins have got this orange message. Some penguins have called it a bug. Some penguins have labelled it as a filter issue. Some penguins don't even care. Either way, by the end of the post, you'll know all about it and be able to share this knowledge with all of your flippered friends!

Please note that none of this is 100% certain. This is just from everything I've noticed today. You'll understand why I've said this soon...

So, if a rule-breaking penguin is reported for Inappropriate Chat, for example, a moderator receives a report about the incident and the chat is reviewed. They, and only they, will decide whether a ban is to be placed on the penguin.

Once this happens, the offending penguin receives the infamous orange pop up.

In saying this, it could also be triggered by saying something that doesn't pass the filter, swear words, etc. It also may or may not be triggered by reporting for other means such as cheating, which doesn't involve talking, usually...

I am slightly concerned about this, because, in just the last few hours, I have got this notification three times, even when I've said nothing. I was in the middle of telling a moderator about the matter and I got the message then too! A penguin can report a penguin for any reason as many times as they want. This applies to the warning message too! In saying this, Club Penguin Island Team are investigating.

What are your thoughts on this? Let me know in the comments below!

  2. You mean, if you reported a penguin , it take a warning message?

    1. That is what appeared to be happening... It might have changed now in the recent update. 😊
