Holiday Party 2016 Review

Today I will be reviewing the Holiday Party 2016! My review will be based upon six categories; Visual Design, Storyline, Content, Music, Replay, and Glitches. Each category is worth 10 points. The combined total will be out of 60, and then a percentage will be calculated. Please remember that the review reflects my opinions, and you don’t have to agree with them!

Visual Design: 8/10
At this year's Holiday Party, there were 43 decorated rooms,  12 of these having minor sky changes, which is still better than having nothing! The other 31 rooms were festively decorated in the red and green colour scheme and would bring a smile to any penguin's face. I really loved how many of the rooms were interactive, such as the Ice Berg. It made penguins flock there just to see how beautiful it truly is when lots of penguins were on it. I also liked how older rooms were brought back, like the one at the lighthouse.

Lets dance for chance;
Lets sing for change;
Lets parade for change;
It's a concert for change...
It's coins for change!
Storyline: 2.5/10
For this party, there wasn't a story line. and there never usually is as these festive parties always expected! However, Megg had confirmed the party at meet ups and on the official blog! Regardless of a story line, this party was still great! Plus, Club Penguin has been working on something else right now... And it's huge! In fact, it was revealed a short while ago. ;)
Content: 8/10
There were LOTS of items to collect throughout the party. On top of adopting a snowman and crystal puffle, you could claim free items from the holiday calendar daily. Although many of them were for members, non members were still able to collect a brand new lot of items throughout the month. Players could also attend meet ups, transform, etc, which was a nice touch!

Music: 10/10
Music during annual Holiday Parties is fantastic, and this year was no exception! The music was festive and upbeat. Club Penguin always does a great job to have music matching the visuals.
Replay: 7.5/10
After completing the daily tasks and collecting the items, there was not much to do... Apart from holding some random dancing parties, exploring all the rooms and secrets, role playing, donating to CFC, and helping other penguins, which were all just as fun! Some of the interactivity in each of the rooms emphasised this such as the food fight at the Beach and decorating the tree activity at the Plaza.

Glitches: 10/10
I noticed no glitches at this party. So for this category, it's a 10 from me!
Overall, this years Holiday Party was great, and brought with it its usual festive charm.

The combined total is 46/60. This is also 77%. A fin-tastic result.
