Operation Crustacean Review

~

Today I will be reviewing Operation Crustacean! My review will be based of six categories; Visual Design, Storyline, Content, Music, Replay, and Glitches. Each category is worth 10 points. The combined total will be out of 60, and then a percentage will be calculated. Please remember that the review reflects my opinions, and you don’t have to agree with them!

Visual Design: 5/10
Operation Crustacean had 11 rooms decorated, and that's including the 6 challenge rooms. Only one permanent room from the island was decorated, this being the Dock, which was decorated well. The other rooms were all new additions, and were decorated good as well, but there was a lack of decorated rooms at this party. Operation Blackout was the complete opposite of this, and this operation was the opposite of that! Simple decorations to the rest of the island would have been good and done the job.
Storyline: 8/10
There is no doubt that Operation Crustacean had a great story line. The cover up for this operation, Extreme Paint Festival did a great job at doing so, and blended  in quite nicely with the "actual" Operation. There were also penguin "abductions" happening all over the island a week before the party started... Rumors were spreading around the island fast! This built suspense for the actual party, which is what many recent ones are lacking. Unfortunately, there was no epic ending... Instead we got a message from the Director basically saying "Well Done".
Content: 7.5/10
The activities to do during Operation Crustacean were quite fun. You could throw paint bombs around at the Dock where the Extreme Paint Festival was, and the activities for the actual Operation that you could complete every three days were good... Except they were extremely repetitive and took only a few short minutes to accomplish! No wonder they were spaced out over three days each. This party lacked activities and challenges to do each day, though the ones present were really good!
The interface for Operation Crustacean was a bit "bad". The items were all free, and the rewards for completing the challenges were all variations of one another. Though the Alien Puffles that we could adopt tied in well with the story line. Club Penguin should start up the Party Catalogs again.
Music: 10/10
The music at this party was fantastic.
Replay: 3/10
The replay value at Operation Crustacean was rubbish. After completing the daily challenges/ activities, the mazes, there was nothing left to do... Apart from through paint everywhere, which got boring after a while too. The Rookie meetups were really good because they made me log on during the party.
Glitches: 6/10
There were two glitches at this event... The friends list was broken, and the log in message was the same... At the start of the party, the dialogue contained "again". How could we complete a challenge "again" if it just came out? No sense.
The combined total is 39.5/60. This is also 66%. An excellent result.
Well, that wraps it up for the review of Operation Crustacean! Did you enjoy it? As always, comment below!
